- Development of nanomaterials and thin film substrates for sensing applications based on surface
plasmon coupled emission, fluorescence spectroscopy, radiative decay engineering and light-matter interactions. - Lab-to-market development through technology readiness levels 1-9 including prototyping and clinical validation of biomedical diagnostic devices with integrated state-of-the-art techniques in plasmonics, microfluidics and biosensing.
- Development of towards bioinspired diagnostics and biomarker detection assays on lab-on-a-chip platform using next generation compact sensors.
